40,000 mounter modules shipped
Fuji Machine Manufacturing Co., Ltd. has started 2013 on a high with news that the company has shipped its 40,000th NXT module. This goal has been reached just two years after the 30,000 milestone and represents a great achievement for all those involved in the development, manufacture, sales and support of the NXT. Since its release in 2003, the NXT series has established itself as the leading mounter in the SMT industry. Designed as an evolving platform, the latest generation remains at the cutting edge of placement technology, and the sustained strong sales show that the NXT series can meet all the manufacturing demands of users across the industry.

Two revolutionary concepts of the original NXT were a platform split between modules and bases, and lightweight heads which can be exchanged in seconds without tools. These characteristics, combined with Fuji’s experience in producing high speed and top quality mounting equipment, led to the creation of a mounting platform which has helped countless users manufacture products efficiently and with unsurpassed quality. The modularity of this series has also allowed it to keep pace with the latest trends and demands of the market. The current NXT II boasts industry-leading quality and support for all the latest technology such as 01005” (0402 mm) part placement, PoP, bare-die placement and various functions to ensure high productivity and ease of use. Meanwhile, the compact version of the platform, the NXT IIc, delivers industry-leading floorspace productivity. Fuji would like to extend a special thanks to all the customers who have helped in attaining this incredible figure. Fuji will continue to provide equipment to satisfy customer demand in the SMT market for years to come.
