ViTrox, provider of automated machine vision inspection solutions for the semiconductor and electronic packaging industries, will debut the new model of its V810i Advanced 3D X-Ray Inspection (AXI) System.
The company says the new V810i S3 AXI System has a new design and an ergonomic style. “The new design involved system geometry and hardware changes to cater better PCB specifications and improve overall inspection speed,” the company said. “Best of all, inspection speed has been improved [by] up to 30%. The V810i S3 is also equipped with machine Internet of Things (IoT) solutions and AI integration. With machine IoT, engineers can troubleshoot the systems easily and perform preventive maintenance actions to minimise production downtime. Besides, the AXI is now equipped with a new Phase Shift Profilometry (PSP) that cater new Optical Assist System feature where it is capable to support barcode reading, optical alignment and bad mark detection.”
The company says it expects to launch a new Semicon AOI in the first quarter of 2022.
“The new Semicon AOI series is equipped with a higher resolution vision module and Coaxial lighting with powerful and new algorithms. Asides from the hardware advancement, the new Semicon AOI series has significant improvement in software development, providing extensive capabilities to enable comprehensive inspection coverage to better cater to the stringent and sensitive inspection criteria.”
The company will also be showcasing its V9i Advanced Robotic Vision (ARV) System as well as the V310i Advanced 3D Solder Paste Inspection (API) System and the Industry 4.0 Smart Manufacturing Solution (V-ONE).
“V9i ARV System has received several notable awards, including the Global Technology Award 2021 and 2019 (both awards are under the category: Inspection Equipment – Robotic Handling System) and IPC APEX EXPO 2020 Innovation Award (category: Test and Inspection). V9i is a flexible inspection system that is suitable for both conformal coating and final inspection of PCBAs.
