Viscom centralizes service management
The in-house employees of the new service business unit
Viscom AG has now established its service department as an independent business unit. This step takes into account the growing worldwide installation basis and enables even more goal-oriented support for Viscom customers. As of now, Viscom service occupies an independent business unit. Head of the new area is Michael Glugla, who joined Viscom at the beginning of May. One of his main tasks will be to optimize training of service technicians for increased efficiency on service calls. In addition, he is also responsible for developing market-oriented service products for existing customers. Michael Glugla has studied mechanical engineering at the University of Hanover and was employed there as a scientific employee in the department “Planning and Control of Storage and Transport Systems”. His latest position was as head of the Customer Services division for an internationally aligned materials logistics company. With this cumulative experience, he is well equipped for his new position at Viscom. With the creation of this business unit, Viscom has taken an important step for the future and intends to meet growing service requirements, especially as regards the availability and know-how of its service technicians. As a result, Viscom can ensure the reliable functionality of all its systems, all the time, even with an ever-increasing number of customers.
