Innovative, ESD Safe, and Class 1 performance
Vacuum handling tools depending on application

Virtual Industries Inc., a supplier of manual vacuum handling solutions, announced plans to exhibit at productronica 2017, demonstrating the Tweezer-Vac Elite and Porta-Wand Elite kit.

The Tweezer-Vac Elite (TV-1500-Elite) was developed in response to customer concerns about firmly grasping critical components and not dropping them due to a vacuum leak. This vacuum tweezer uses an integrated ten segment bar-graph display that visibly shows the vacuum level present during operation. Additionally, the vacuum port integrates a user replaceable inlet filter that protects operation of the tool from dust particles. It is available in various kits, in 110 or 220 volt operation, depending on your handling application.

The Porta-Wand Elite kit (VPWE7000AR-MW8–220) is ideal for handling wafers, solar cells, disk media, flat panels, or any item that has a flat hard surface. A power-on indicator flashes when the battery pack needs to be recharged or interchanged with a fully charged battery pack. A push button provides easy on/off control with a lock to on position. An intake air filter (VPW6000-FIL-5) is replaceable from the front of the tool.

The kit comes with a detachable 9.6V NiMH rechargeable battery pack, an in-stand charger (P/N VPW6000-CHRG) and one wafer tip. The detachable battery pack (VPWE-150) contains the rear exhaust filter for the entire tool to ensure better than Class 1 performance. The battery pack can be recharged when attached or when separated from the tool.
