HumiSeal has announced that its continued move towards true Globalization has seen significant gains following the successful roll out of all metric consignment and a new packaging design across all three manufacturing locations. The company has made significant investments in its manufacturing facilities both in Winnersh UK and Pittsburgh in the USA building in capacity for manufacturing overlap should manufacturing be interrupted in one location due to natural disasters for example.
Additionally, manufacturing of the product range has now been further automated to ensure even more consistent quality. All vessels can be independently programmed to manufacture any one of its products. This automation allows for incredible precision and allows the company to meet the most demanding delivery schedules. In addition to this investment, all HumiSeal has globally launched its new packaging design while simultaneously converted to metric units across the full range from the one and five liter cans to the larger volume containers. This augmentation will further enhance redundancy in product supply to better serve the global markets. By having a unified manufacturing and distribution operation, the company can continue to meet the supply demands globally.
Commenting on this transition, Keith Waryold, Global Business Unit Director, said: “We have worked hard to implement a consistent manufacturing and distribution model across our entire customer base regardless of their location or requirements. Every customer should be able to expect the same level of service and product quality and these developments in terms of standardizing the containers combined with the investment in automated manufacturing mean that we can continue to deliver on this moving forward. In addition, the investment in new packaging design and format will help to re-assure our customers that they are using authentic HumiSeal materials.“
