Receiving ITAR registration

Cookson Electronics Engineered Products, a business unit of Cookson Electronics Assembly Materials Group has announced that its parent companies (Fry’s Metals Inc. and Cookson America Inc.) have received their official ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) registration (ITAR Registration Code M23529.). Administered by the U.S. Department of State’s Directorate of Defense Trade Controls (DDTC), under authority established by the Arms Export Control Act (AECA), ITAR regulates the manufacture, export and transfer of defense articles, information and services. “The Military, Defense and Government segments constitute an important market for Cookson Electronics Engineered Products’ US business. With this ITAR registration, we are pleased to provide our value-added stencil technologies that can help defense electronics companies develop and commercialize products quicker and help improve first pass yields. Our ITAR registration ensures that products and services that we provide to our US Defense industry customers are produced and delivered in compliance with the ITAR guidelines, said Ravi Bhatkal, Vice President and General Manager, Engineered Products”.

With a worldwide presence in 50 locations throughout the Americas, Europe and the Asia/Pacific region, CEAM supplies a full line of solder paste, stencils, squeegee blades, stencil & PCB cleaners, bar solder, cored wire solder, wave soldering fluxes, and SMD adhesives.
