Supplier of solder resists and coatings for electronics Peters has said that it will have experts from its R&D department on hand at the upcoming Productronica 2021 trade fair to discuss the influence of solder resists, conformal coatings and casting compounds on high-frequency applications. The company will exhibit in Hall A2, Booth 354.

“Advancing ever faster, the digital connection of man and machine requires powerful networks and a good infrastructure,” the company said. “This includes electronic assemblies with special properties for a use in high-frequency technology. In the field of RF base materials, different materials are available for different frequency ranges. The dielectric constant εr and the dielectric loss factor tan δ are two essential factors in this context. Besides the base material, solder resists, conformal coatings and casting compounds are other important components of an assembly.

“The influence of such components on high-frequency applications is currently one focus of the research activities carried out by Peters’ R&D department.

“Our development experts are eagerly awaiting the upcoming productronica. We will be pleased to welcome you at our stand for an exchange of views and experience.”
