KIC has teamed with Valor to integrate KIC’s continuous monitoring systems directly to Valor’s newly released end-to-end software suite, DynamiX. Previously, only machine data from the reflow process was available from Valor’s software. Soon the important process data from the reflow ovens will be fed to Valor from KIC’s RPI systems (Reflow Process Inspection). KIC’s RPI will be incorporated into Valor’s DynamiX complete assembly production software suite designed to integrate solutions that will assist manufacturers in the design, planning, monitoring, control, scheduling, box build, traceability, test and rework processes. This capability complements the intelligent MES environment provided by Valor that previously included printing, pick-and-place and AOI but not the reflow process data.
