Jetting is redesigned

GPD Global, a manufacturer of precision fluid dispensing systems for high-volume 24/7, low-volume/high-mix and R&D production, has introduced its new NCM5000 dispense pump for easy jetting. With only two wetted parts and no seals or springs to replace or adjust, field operation is simple. The pump uses a reliable, high-speed pneumatic solenoid to drive the jetting action. With a continuous frequency of up to 300Hz, users will fly through production lots. The main body of the pump has a built-in non-wetted heater to maintain optimal fluid temperature for consistent results. Additionally, the pump offers a low priming volume of only 0.09 cc, minimizing lost materials and maximizing production per fluid reservoir. It’s two wetted parts consist of a flexible diaphragm and nozzle plate. The replaceable diaphragm is impregnated with a carbide ball and available in different materials for fluid compatibility. The nozzle plate can be configured with durable ceramic nozzles in a variety of sizes. The nozzles are easily field replaceable and do not require any adjustments once replaced. The pump has been tested with a wide range of fluids, from UV encapsulants, to underfills to SMT adhesives, all with exceptional results. If not installed on a GPD Global Dispense platform, an offline controller is available for integration into the robot. The pump is an easy way to update current dispensing processes. The company offers a full line of dispensing equipment from single pumps to fully automated platforms.
