At Productronica Siemens Electronics Assembly Systems (SEAS) demonstrated the new, highly flexible Siplace SX machine generation, the new Siplace MultiStar CPP head, innovative Siplace setup concepts, many software innovations and most of all a complete and consistent capacity-on-demand concept allow electronics manufacturers to implement BTO (build-to-order) concepts in one fell swoop or step-by-step to operate with significantly more flexibility and efficiency. Thanks to its CPP head, high feeder capacity and replaceable gantries, the new Siplace SX is the world’s first machine whose capacity can be adapted to ever faster product changeovers and often dramatically fluctuating customer requirements. In addition, visitors had the chance to experience new line and setup concepts which can produce even the smallest lot sizes with speed and efficiency – thanks to fully integrated Siplace software solutions for planning, setup, control and analysis.
