Specifically for the cleaning of assemblies with complex geometries a modern and safe solvent, such as Zestron VD, is an efficient solution. The solvent provides excellent performance in capillary spaces and is therefore recommended for the removal of contaminants from low stand-offs, which are difficult to access. It is used in one-chamber solvent cleaning equipment. Due to the completely water-free process, a fast and residue-free drying even of high drag-out components can be realized. The continuous regeneration of the cleaning medium in the closed-loop systems ensures extremely small consumption and therefore reduced cleaning agent costs. Additionally, waste water is avoided and an environment-friendly cleaning process with long bath life times is guaranteed. The wide process window of Zestron VD facilitates the effective removal of the most diverse flux residues from eutectic and lead-free solder pastes.
