ETEL has launched its electronics motion control platform to provide a powerful range of motion controllers called UltimET light, position controllers called AccurET (figure) and Gbit real-time communication bus called TransnET. The motion controllers control position controllers in multi-axis applications to reach sophisticated synchronisation and complex interpolated trajectory between multiple axes. The position controllers are proposed in a modular format dedicated to multi-axis applications where a single power supply unit is able to power many position controller units to minimize the space required for the electronics. The AccurET modular family offers 600 VDC, 400 VDC and 48 VDC products with a large range of currents available from 2.5 to 15 Arms continuous (40 Arms peak). Each position controller is compatible with TTL, SinCos as well as EnDat 2.1 and 2.2 encoders. Sophisticated fast position capture inputs and fast triggering outputs are available. To communicate between UltimET light and AccurET, TransnET is the real-time bus developed by ETEL. TransnET is one of the first industrial buses based on Gigabit Ethernet with a dedicated motion control protocol. It manages instantaneous commands transmission within 100 μsec and for up to 63 axes. To set-up and monitor UltimET light and AccurET, the company continues to use and to improve its ComET software. With this platform, ETEL is able to provide a complete system expertise including turnkey high precision mechanical systems. This electronics motion control platform has been developed to succeed in semiconductors, electronics, laser, flat panel display or solar industry where machine throughput, high stability and accuracy are key factors of success.
