Carlier Prototype Engineering (CPE), a fast growing electronics and consultancy company in Zottegem, Belgium, will improve its Quality Control with a Saki AOI system. CPE is specialized in customer specific development of electronic products and systems. Because of their constant striving for quality assurance and quality control improvement, CPE decided to invest in AOI. After evaluating several systems they bought a Saki Voyager. “The combination of algorithm based testing and accurate measurement through line scan convinced us. Also the excellent support of the distributor Smans was an important factor,” Christ Carlier said when asked for the reason for this decision. By the end of the year CPE will also have a complete renewed factory with the latest and best facilities.
