BTU International, Inc., a supplier of advanced thermal processing equipment for the electronics manufacturing market, has controlled atmosphere belt furnaces that are available with temperature ranges up to 1150 °C. These belt furnaces are also suited for various process atmospheres, including hydrogen and nitrogen. The company designs and manufactures inline controlled atmosphere belt furnaces for a number of applications including: glass-to-metal sealing, direct bond copper, brazing, sintering and heat-treating.

The company is knowledgeable in atmosphere control for continuous furnaces. Whether dealing with high purity muffle applications or general purpose muffle-less applications, the company has experience supporting precision temperature and atmosphere applications. Excellent atmosphere purity is achieved through the use of their patented gas barrier technology. In addition, their eductor technology can be used to enhance cooling or control process atmosphere. The end result is superior efficiency, performance and thermal uniformity.

The controlled atmosphere furnaces feature the company’s proprietary Wincon control system. This features a simplified user interface and powerful analytical capabilities.
