The Feinfocus Fox X-ray system is now available with a 24 x 24-in (610 x 610 mm) tray area to accommodate larger board assemblies. The system provides a complete scan of the sample tray area with 6-axes control, including XYZ and sophisticated oblique-angle viewing with ±45º tilt. It was the first nanofocus X-ray inspection system in the industry, providing feature recognition of 300 nm (0.3 micron), and the smallest focal spot size (less than 1 µm). This precision is combined with a wide range of speed settings from 10 µm/sec to 80 mm/sec. The versatile instrument provides geometric magnification of up to 2400 x (total magnification 7200 x) with accurate measurement and high speed sample repositioning. The system features a true X-ray intensity technology, which constantly controls the level of beam intensity during image acquisition, guaranteeing stable and permanent quality. The machine is also available with either microfocus or MFT multifocus X-ray tube, offering microfocus, nanofocus and high-power modes in one source.
