The in-circuit tester Digitaltest MTS300 Sigma is designed to meet the demands of flexibility, high fault coverage and easy programming. Flexibility comes with the modular design and the many test methods it offers. As a result of its modular design, the board tester can be precisely configured for current requirements without limiting the possibilities of expansions expected. The system focuses on high throughput: with up to 1,000 measurements/s, it is one of the fastest machines on the market. The system provides analog and digital in-circuit test capabilities, vectorless and functional tests, as well as boundary scan and on-board programming. The MTS300 can be integrated into a board handling system which affords enough space for the tester rack plus additional room for IEEE or VXI instruments. The adapter system, driven by a servo-motor, allows double-sided fixturing and dual level for modes of test. Short wire connections guarantee signal integrity and quality.
