DEK 248 semi-automatic printers now benefit from a PC-based user interface, allowing operators to view all machine parameters at a glance for faster, accurate machine control. Combined with the keyboard featuring integrated trackball, the interface makes editing parameters, moving, storing and backing-up product files, and accessing context-sensitive help easier than ever. It is available in a wide selection of languages, including Chinese, Korean and Japanese. The interface supports the optional vision capabilities, featuring a real-time image data displayed live on-screen. Vision information of the currently running product is saved automatically with the product file. The interface replaces the 4-line LCD panel of earlier models, and adopts the look and feel of the high-end automatic platforms. This enhances commonality between all machines in the DEK range to make business easier for assemblers operating a mix of semi and fully automatic machines, or migrating to high-performance equipment.
