The Komax Gamma 255 is an automatic crimping machine that reportedly excels in processing of tiny cross sections. In spite of its reduced space requirements, all elements of quality monitoring are integrated. The very flexible equipment performs processing of wires from 0.0123sq.mm/AWG36 to 1.0sq.mm/AWG17 (optional 1.5sq.mm/AWG16) The length range varies from 20mm to 1m (optional 10m). Depending on the modules, crimp or twist on both sides, flux and tin can be applied. The machine features programmable, highly dynamic servo drives and V-blades. Standard is prefeeder, splice detection, wire end and knot detection as well as stripping and contact detection, also a bad wire handling with automated post-production. The controller with its WPCS interface allows networking. Other equipment such as Komax 331, 341, 351 (pull-out force, crimp height, barcode scanner) can also be integrated, including recording of all measurements. The compact layout allows a conversion from crimping to twisting, fluxing and tinning within the shortest time. The machine is accessible from all sides, operation and material handling take place from the front. The system software TopWin ensures high user comfort.
