Hover-Davis has launched its range of Siplace-compatible tape feeders, operating with all Siemens machines and currently including 12/16, 24/32, 44 and 56mm feeders. Additional solutions will be added soon. Each feeder has significant enhancements that improve ease of use and reduce the cost-of-ownership associated with this type of equipment. Reversible index drive and other operator-friendly features make component changeovers faster and more accurate. Added have been high-visibility status indicators, a diagnostic feature set that includes pick-point calibration, and a modular design that allows each feeder to be maintained in-house – without the need for expensive ancillary equipment or the need to ship feeders to outside resources. To complement this range, the company has also pre-printed label feeder and print-on-demand label feeder – both of which are also fully compatible with the Siplace machine family.
