Selective soldering for small budgets
Automated selective soldering contributes substantially to process reliability and lifts product quality to a higher level. The high capital investment involved has prevented complex systems from being commonly used in smaller companies. The semi-automatic system Ersa Versaflow ecoselect allows both single-spot operation by precision soldering nozzle and simultaneous heavy-mass soldering by multi-fountain technique, and is especially for manufactures with smaller budgets. With the furnace comes the experience of more than 200 units installed. The main emphasis is either on flexibility or throughput depending on the application. The basic machine is equipped with a soldering module, and the extended version can be supplied with two soldering modules. An integrated conveyor provides controlled board transport ensuring individual component processing. Various options for adapting the system to the individual requirements are also available. Easy operation, programming and accessibility for maintenance are other features. The oven can be operated either as a stand-alone system or in-line providing zero-defect results. With self-explanatory software controls and monitors, the machine functions and can comfortably and easily be handled via touch-screen, recording all relevant process parameters and messages.
