Lower production costs with line monitoring

With the latest version 1.1 of the Siplace Explorer monitoring program, the capacity of SMT lines can be utilized even more efficiently and cost is reduced substantially. It takes data from Siplace S-20 or later and partner systems such as DEK and Rehm. The web-based program monitors lines in real time at multiple locations without interfering with the manufacturing process, and can be customized easily The data can be analyzed over the internet, and the machines adjusted on the spot. With the user-friendly interface and large selection of pre-programmed queries and views, even novice users can easily analyze production data. They can check their line production data from anywhere and at any time via a fixed address. Performance at both the machine and line level can be analyzed, and actions be taken to optimize single machines or entire lines. Software wizards help to query the relevant information and display it in user-specific views, such as component consumption and discharge rates, line and shift utilization, process data and event logs, as well as line and machine status charts. The Explorer automatically generates and sends line-operation logs, to be generated daily, weekly or monthly. The user can instruct the software to send warnings via SMS, email or pager when specified threshold values are exceeded, then a process can be adjusted immediately. The line data can also be downloaded from the central internet page to be examined later.
