BP Microsystems’ enhanced 7th generation of universal device programmers, the 1710, 2710, 2710M, 4710, 4710-M, 3710MK2, 3710MK2-M, will replace the existing models. Featuring fast USB 2.0 communications interface and support for devices with densities to up to 4Gb, this series was developed to meet the upcoming requirements of flash programming. Earlier programmer models use a parallel port to communicate from the host PC to the programmer. With a USB 2.0 bus, communication speeds are increased and greater reliability is provided. On-board memory was increased to address the industry trend of higher density semiconductor devices.
