The test cell Inline Servo TCIL-S jointly developed by Digitaltest and Rohwedder Pematech integrates an in-circuit and functional board tester MTS300 Sigma with a test-head interface that is pneumatically lowered to the horizontal vacuum test adapter, and the board-handling facilities needed. This way, signal lines for the measurements can be very short, ensuring high signal quality. A conveyor belt transports the board assemblies into the cell and the contacting area that can be loaded and unloaded almost simultaneously. This enables extremely short cycle times. During the contacting motion, the conveyor belt can be moved to the side. This way, a board can be fully contacted up to the edges. The tester provides up to 1.500 non-multiplexed test channels, functional test, boundary scan and flash-programming options.
