The entry-class SMD placement machine BS383 (basis investment euro 25.000) of Autotronik-SMT starts with an assembly rate of 3,000 UPH. For alignment, two different systems based on optical or laser technology will be alternatively offered. And these are available for wide range of components such as 0.5mm-fine-pitch, QFP, BGA, MicroBGAs and CSP or for 0201-parts as well as for CSPs, respectively. The repeatability is specified with ±0.1mm for laser and with ±0.05mm for the optical alignment. The Vision Inspection tool applied before or after the placement process help to assure high manufacturing quality. The Smart Feeder ID feature allows for a quick set-up procedure as well as for easy operation by semi-skilled staff. For machine access by the internet, a Remote Service function is implemented. This way programming, calibration and software service can be provided through the experienced Autotronik-SMT’s service center.
