Users can dramatically reduce the time it takes to make accurate measurements on the PCI bus with National Instruments‘ 6½-digit multimeter PCI-4070 FlexDMM. The multifunction capability and its tight integration with LabVIEW 7 Express software gives the flexibility, resolution, input range and isolation required for challenging applications. The FlexDMM can operate as both a full-featured 6½-digit DMM and a 1.8MS/s high-voltage isolated digitizer. It delivers 6-ppm basic 24-hour DCV accuracy and sub-mikrovolt sensitivity, offering a DC reading rate from 100S/s at 6½ digits up to 10kS/s at 4½ digits. Engineers can make a variety of non-standard measurements, including instantaneous power. Users can quickly increase the channel count of their PCI or PXI-based test system by integrating with switch modules and Switch Executive management software, to measure thousands of channels with only a single high-speed multimeter. The FlexDMM ships with driver software that is optimized for use with LabView, LabWindows/CVI and Visual Studio.NET.
