Manufacturer of products for precision cleaning, coating and lubrication MicroCare Europe has said it will be “Going Green” in Germany when it present its portfolio of sustainable, regulatory compliant cleaning chemistries at SMTconnect in Nuremberg from 10-12 May 2022. “As electronics manufacturers look to adopt ecological practices, the company’s environmentally-friendly Tergo line of cleaning products will be central to the pursuit,” the company said.
The cleaning solutions manufacturer will exhibit its range of products that have been developed to not only clean effectively but to do so in an economical and environmentally sound way. The Tergo Chlorine Free Cleaning Fluid is one of the sustainable solutions that is paving the way to greener cleaning.
“Sustainability should be a key driver when it comes to choosing cleaning solutions. It is important to understand the value of a simple, consistent and sustainable process. It must be flexible in that it can adapt to any future changes,” explained Scott Wells, General Manager, MicroCare Europe.
“…the fluid upholds regulatory compliances with excellent toxicity profiles. It is not considered a HAP (Hazardous Air Pollutant) making it safer for the environment and people. It also excels at quickly and completely removing tough, high-temperature lead-free flux residue and a wide range of soils including organic, inorganic and ionic. This innovative fluid offers electronics manufacturers the perfect long-term cleaning solution.”
Non-flammable and with a low surface tension, low viscosity and high density, the new fluid cleans under low-mounted chips and inside tight, complex spaces.
Specifically engineered for fast, consistent and economical cleaning in vapour degreasers , the company says its formulation is thermally and chemically stable for long fluid life. It is also recyclable and requires little maintenance, making it a green alternative to more traditional cleaning methods. Importantly it complies with the strict REACH regulations and worker safety rules required throughout Europe.
“We understand how important sustainable production techniques are to electronics manufacturers. That is why our cleaning fluids not only comply with strict environmental regulations but are lab-tested and analysed to ensure the cleaning results are reliable and consistent. SMTconnect will be the ideal platform in which to present the Tergo™ product range and showcase how these cleaning solutions not only work effectively but can help achieve a company’s sustainability objectives,” said Wells.
