TopLine will attend the Georgia College and State University (GCSU) career day on March 7, 2018, for the 10th time, to support students in the field of Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) studies.
GCSU has a growing number of students pursuing an education in STEM studies at the Milledgeville, GA campus, near the company’s east coast headquarters. Martin Hart, CEO, states that “We are particularly interested in supporting students pursuing majors in Chemistry, Physics and Biology with internships, scholarships and work-study programs in 2018 and beyond. We want to meet students early in their educational careers.“
Hart noted that selected students will be offered jobs at the company to round out their understanding of the electronics components industry on a real-time, hands-on basis. “We want to challenge students to put their STEM educations to the test by being bold, thinking big, and staying local in the greater Milledgeville area, an area thareat includes Macon and Robins Air Force Base,” he added. “Our mission and responsibility is to provide solutions to customers that enable them to do things better; thus advancing the frontiers of all that is possible.”
The company participates in a community with global interdependencies, Hart emphasizes, and he believes that just one person has the potential to positively affect many, even a continent away. “Each day, our employees are energized by helping others and improving our world,” he concludes.
