IPC is dedicated to delivering strong technical and educational content to the electronics industry in Europe. In accordance with that important mission, the company‘s Technical Education will be held in Paris on 3–4 October at the Novotel Convention & Wellness Roissy CDG.
The Technical Education offers instruction on several vast topics in the electronics industry. Ranging from robust coating processes in the factory to the selection of materials and processes for high reliability assemblies, this series of tutorials promises to provide quality education and networking opportunities. Additional workshops include best practices for electrostatic discharge (ESD), as well, as reliability in solder joints.
If you are an engineer or manage the technical staff in the areas of design, process, materials, manufacturing, supply chain, quality or reliability, plan to attend these unique tutorials. This event will feature four globally renowned subject matter experts – each teaching a three-hour course in a classroom setting:
  • Robust Coating Processes in the Factory: Methods, Critical Parameters, Problems and Remedies by Doug Pauls, Rockwell Collins
  • Solder Joint Reliability in Electronic Assemblies by Jean-Paul Clech, EPSI Inc.
  • ESD Best Practices and Control Program of the Future by Hartmut Berndt, B.E.STAT European ESD Competence Centre
  • Selection of Materials and Processes for High Reliability Assemblies by Barrie Dunn, Portsmouth University
