Yxlon has launched their Cheetah and Cougar Eco x-ray inspection systems for use in the electronics industry. These microfocus systems, which have been developed in Germany, are characterized by an excellent price-performance ratio. Being entry-level systems in two sizes, each of them provides best inspection results in quality control in the SMT and semiconductor industries.

German engineering and European manufacture with a low carbon footprint result in a total solution that sets a new benchmark for x-ray systems of this class. And like all of the company’s systems, the safety standards exceed all global requirements.

As well as the sophisticated, segment-specific x-ray inspection systems of the EVO family and even the universal FF20/35/85 CT systems, Cougar and Cheetah Eco systems also benefit from the high-resolution FeinFocus tubes. This target technology is a finely calibrated flat-panel detector and a manipulation system. The easy 1-click operation and the intuitive FGUI user interface deliver quick and clear results. An upgrade with the FF-CT or Micro3DSlice software expands these x-ray systems easily with high-quality computed tomography capabilities.
