Glenbrook’s over-sized Jewel Box 70-T is a large capacity, high-res X-ray inspection system. Its technology combines a 10-micron, 70kV X-ray source with extremely small SID (source-to-image distance) in order to capture high-resolution images. The machine facilitates inspection of larger boards of up to 18 x 24-in. A positioner featuring 5 axes permits complete 360-degree rotation of boards up to 16 x 18-in. It allows magnification of more than 500x, making it ideal for inspecting BGA/ µBGA, flip chip, CSP and similar field ar-ray packages.
