The PCB plotter ProtoMat D104 carves circuit tracks out of coated base materials by negative contour routing or drills vias, and now a laser extends the processing range to materials such a ceramics and allows structures down to ultra fine-pitch. Designed for labs and engineering it combines the precision of a laser with the mechanics of an advanced milling/drilling system.
In the manufacturing area of laser direct structuring (LDS) the Fusion3D 1200 is now optimized for server operation and support of loading/unloading by a rotary table, and can be applied for all production volumes, and also be upgraded with up to three laser sources. With the ProtoLaser 3D an unique system for prototyping has been launched. The new generation of laser systems MicroLine 2000 is cutting bare, assembled, rigid and flexible PCBs. Faster fiducial registration and optimized operational dynamics guarantee for a faster process, the machine can operate in-line and features a SMEMA interface and different laser sources. The software facilitates process set-ups with high variance. For the first time, the specialists of the plastic welding division are also represented. They demonstrate how to fix PCBs without mechanical stress in plastic housings and protect them against environmental impact.
