SZ Testsysteme developed a universal pin electronics (VPIN) option for the device tester families M3650, M3300 Piranha, M3660 Falcon and M3900 Kodiak, suited especially to the requirements of automotive electronics. The VPIN offers a large voltage swing (from -2 to +28 V) combined with high data rates (up to 50 MHz). Therefore, it is able to perform verification of complex automotive devices (analog and digital) in an optimal way. With the ability for parallel and multi-site testing, verification time and production costs can be reduced. The tester-per-pin concept, supplying own resources for every pin (PMU, driver, comparator, load, memory), increases the flexibility and reduces the application efforts.
