The Fuji XP series is based on mechanically simple but highly effective and reliable placement machines. So far, the series comprises of three models: the XP-141E high-speed ship shooter, the XP-241E multi-purpose mounter (with tray input), and the XP-341E, a multi-purpose mounter with feeder. The series features a mini-turret placement mechanism that accommodates 0603-chips as well as 1005s, up to components of 4 x 5mm square. A total of 100 feeders (front and back) can be used. All XP machines offer on-the-fly vision, self-diagnostics and automatic calibration for high-accuracy operation. The machine concept is modular, with an overall module length of 1500mm. Models 241 E and 341 E are equipped with a single-nozzle placement system that enables high-speed nozzle exchange. Both these models place rectangular chips at a maximum of 0.6s, and a mix of rectangular and IC packages at maximum 1.5s/component.
