Data I/O’s alliance partner Siemens Dematic has installed additional RoadRunner programming systems into its Siplace SMT lines at key-account production sites. This was done after earlier installations proved a significant advantage in reducing production cost and increasing efficiency in programming Flash and other memories. Siemens was the first major partner to enter into a sales and service agreement, integrating an extremely fast in-line automated programming system into its machines. Now, Data I/O has also begun taking orders for the Assembléon (ACM) and for the Universal GSM version of RoadRunner. Designed for very high volumes, the RoadRunner is the result of of joint developments with these respective companies.
