JOT group’s board of directors has accepted the resignation of president Teijo Fabritius. The resignation was the result of different views in operative management. Fabritius continues however as an adviser to the board of directors in strategic projects. The company has appointed VP Pertti Tarvainen, chief financial officer, in addition to his other tasks to act as president until a new one has been appointed. Additionally, CFO Tarvainen is also chairman of the executive management team, together with Juha Nurmimäki and Mika Mämmelä, VP responsible for research and development. The chairman of the board, Mika Kettula, will now be more involved in the development of the company’s operations. Mika Kettula has been in various top management level positions in the group. The former head of the U.S. facility, Patrick O’Brien, has also resigned. Jari Lotvonen has now been appointed president of the group’s subsidiary in the US. He has previously been responsible as VP for production. Juha Nurmimäki is now responsible for production in Oulu, Finnland.
