Universal Instruments has appointed Karen Moore-Watts (the formerly PR responsible at DEK HQs in Wey-mouth) as director of global marketing, to strategically unify its market communications initiatives, energize its marketing philosophy and raise the corporate profile in line with branding goals set out by president Ian McEvoy. Karen assumes responsibility for brand identity including all promotional programs, event management and external marketing communications. She will relocate from the UK to Binghamton/NY State. Under her supervision, marketing success was instrumental in securing DEK a dominant market share in key geographic regions, including the U.S.
