Light-guided assembly system
Blakell/Europlacer has introduced the LS6000 light-guided assembly station. Its projection system works in conjunction with standard and odd-form component feeders. It significantly reduces the learning curve associated with assembl-ing boards (or with new operators), and eliminates insertion errors with respect to missing, incorrect or reversed polarities. The station incorporates several features not seen on the predecessor model. The ergonomic wrap-around style workstation incorporates self-supporting DIL and bin racks to maximize the available working area. Halogen light and color graphic user environment combined help providing the optimum in efficient board assembly.
