Let’s get down to the nitty gritty of the issues of authenticity
Simply look at this chain reaction: Chrysler Daimler’s top executive Jürgen Schrempp says through the media that he will quit his job at this renowned global player – and what happens? At the stock exchange, first the share value goes up sharply. Nice for the shareholders? They have lost about 50% on the value of this paper since he went into office years ago. Then a number of his Chrysler Daimler comrades immediately drew on its stock options, and some of them realized a profit up to nearly half a million euro within a day, just for some telephone calls. Business as usual in the industry? Or, from an ethic-based view, a sacrilege, or – at least – “stinky” business? It is, of course, a remarkable case. First, the top shot goes away and the corporation he was leading gains new heights of public recognition and value within a moment. Second, executives of the same company don’t have any problems filling their pockets. For instance, as soon as there is a window of opportunity to take benefits from stock options or other “compensations”. Even if the value of this corporation has been remarkably led south before. And there seems almost no trust to be found in those higher places, neither in the company’s gainful development nor in its own managerial skills with sailing through stormy weather.

Seems that we are witnessing just the tip of the iceberg here. A kind of self-serving ideology, as many politicians (on the trail to even more power and influence) and others occasionally utilize. As we can read, hear and see practically every day, people who have an outstanding position failing this way. It has become a new sort of sport: principals in high ranks filling their pockets or grasping more public power without a blink. Just to name a few, for example, which we have seen – those corporations such as Infineon, Skoda, VW and many more from the banking system. Exercised in different shades of dishonesty and fraud up to corruption. What kind of outcome is this? Have money, political or religious power risen over ethical standards? Hard to say now. But, at any rate, it’s not a fair thing at all, even when legal rules have not been directly offended.
The average Joe, continuously downsized and often frustrated by hard-lined decisions, cannot understand what he is observing. Someone who has lost his job, facing a tremendous descent, or being offered another one paying 25% less of former earnings, a human being simply reduced to a pure cost issue, feels in no way comfortable. Is life treating me well in the material world? – He may think. Even the guys he thought are his “friends”, executives from the unions, play an inglorious role in those nasty games. He expected inhuman cruelties, serious foolishness and offensiveness by the managers – but from his own lobbying guys? Unthinkable!
This is not the world where special castes of people can exploit the rest in a crude manner. This cannot endure. It’s the change of paradigm what we can watch here – not only in electronics manufacturing does this take place. That which until now seemed to be grounded apparently on solid beliefs, now sits on the verge of an abyss? No, not quite so dramatic yet, but we have regrouped old stuff, old beliefs and views. And just to unveil pre-conceived notions: corruption and foul business manners in Europe? This can only be a habit practiced in Asia! No, we don’t have to go that far. It’s just here, around the corner. The exposition of those lies, frauds and smear tactics will set free a large amount of energy. Truth and authenticity are really nurturing us, not the trickery swept under carpets. The unfolding reality is providing the true way to take responsibility on a new level of understanding, wherever who we are and were we are.
