Testing technology specialist Ingun has said it will present a refined service profile and introduce innovative test solutions at the productronica 2021 trade fair (Hall A1, Stand 359). These will range from optimised manual test fixtures to radio frequency probes for 5G and customising accessories for capacitive touchscreens. Demonstrations will include showing how a cobot makes the handling of manual test fixtures even more efficient.
Celebrating 50 years of testing expertise, Ingun says “it wants to make testing as easy as possible for its customers and therefore offers innovative, modular, and ideally-suited solutions for a variety of industries and applications – in line with our motto: Simplify your test assembly!
“At productronica 2021, the world‘s leading trade show for the development and production of electronics, the test equipment specialist from Constance will be presenting its refined portfolio of test fixture kits, test probes, and customising accessories.
Cobot-ready & designed for automated handling
At Stand 359 in Hall A1, Ingun will show optimised manual test fixtures, which allow a particularly efficient, reliable, and economical work – especially in combination with a cobot (collaborative robot). A demo illustrates the advantages of using a cobot as part of the test system: It inserts the device to be tested, closes the test fixture, and removes the DUT again after the fixture opens automatically – more efficiently than a human could in the long run.“
Radio frequency probes
With solutions for contacting 5G technology, Ingun supports the rapid transmission of ever larger data volumes with low latency. Radio frequency technology is indispensable, for example, for assistance functions and infotainment in vehicles. At productronica, Ingun will present the RF probe HFS-802, a new variable test solution for contacting high-speed connectors.
Contacting smartphones & tablets
The new TAB button actuator with capacitive tip enables particularly gentle testing of smartphone and tablet touchscreens – absolutely scratch-free thanks to carbon fibre. This also allows space-saving contacting to be carried out reliably. The TAB functional unit is operated manually and can be used easily and safely with Ingun’s manual exchangeable kits.
