Ekra’s X5HSP and E5-36 are the latest additions to their printer families. Reportedly, the X5HSP offers today´s lowest cycle time through its robust design and optimized motion control that specifically targets high-speed operation. The three-stage conveyor and high-speed axis allow high reliability to be maintained while producing at the high throughput levels. The system is also equipped with vision system with dual software controlled variable lighting, to allow for robust performance. Optional features are a 2 1/2D post-print inspection system, auto-pin guidance, dual-high capacity paste dispenser, environmental control and SPC software. With a print area of 36 x 24-in (915 x 610mm), the E5-36 is claimed to offer the largest board size capability available in an in-line automatic printer. It also includes features like vision alignment, patented post-print inspection and vacuum-stencil wiping.
