Few manufacturers want to box themselves into assembling exclusively large boards on their surface mounting machines, rather they need higher flexibility. Mydata’s board-train concept for its T5 and T6 conveyors can provide a solution: Because of their large PCB area, the conveyors can also handle multiple smaller boards in-line, creating board trains. Since a number of small boards are loaded and unloaded at the same time, this solution reduces the board transfer time and improves optimization.
