The Agfa Vivaldi2 is an advanced photo tooling film for the manufacturing of PCBs, and is claimed to feature exceptional image quality, precise line width control, greater dimensional stability, reinforced scratch resistance and optimal vacuum behavior. It incorporates a latent image enhancement component that yields extraordinary results, included in the emulsion coating of the film. When exposed to activators in the developer chemistry, the latent image component sustains the silver-halide crystals with the latent image to be developed. The result is exceptionally sharp lines with correct line width even for lines as narrow as 10µm. Vivaldi2 is comprised of a 175µm thick thermally processed PET substrate, which maximizes dimensional stability and assures precise registration. A polymer layer makes the film permanently antistatic, eliminating even the slightest dust attraction. Additionally, an anti-halation layer absorbs scattered light during exposure and prevents the formation of ghost images. Vdev, which is used with this film, is the developer with incorporated activator.
