Datacon has received first position of the VLSI Research 10 Best award in the category of assembly equipment. Its highest rated categories were product performance and quality of results. ”Datacon has been ranked among the 10 best since 1998.” says Helmut Rutterschmidt, president and director of the board. „Most of the feedback we receive this year comes from European customers. The first position is therefore in large part thanks to our continuing efforts and commitment towards our European customers with whom we have achieved a close relationship in recent years. We have always considered customer feedback, customer satisfaction and commitment top priority and will continue to do so in the future.” In Datacon’s strategic orientation to become a global player, the goal is to achieve the same high standard of relationships with customers in North America and Asia/Pacific as in Europe. In the past few months the company has opened local headquarters in the US (Datacon North America) and in Singapore (Datacon Asia Pacific). With the investment in Singapore, for example, the Austrian company installs an advanced packaging application & process lab and training center.
