The backend semiconductor equipment manufacturer Ismeca (test handlers and tape & reel machines) and Shinkawa (bonders) have announced a cross-collaboration agreement to provide joint sales and service support for each company’s product offerings. By leveraging Ismeca’s (part of Swiss-based Schweiter Technology) established organizational strengths in Europe and Shinkawa’s similar strong position in Japan, the contract enables the companies to deliver a high degree of sales and support to their customers throughout these important markets by joint resources, and also by offering beneficial synergies.
