With the 40 MHz, 2 Channel, Analog Oscilloscope HM400, Hameg Instruments, well known for oscilloscopes and test equipment for more than 50 years, sets a new benchmark in price and performance. Apart from the Autoset function for the adjustment of the display parameters at the push of one button, the HM400 offers high input sensitivity of 1 mV/div, and also a high input voltage range: voltages up to 50 V/div can be displayed. The Z-input serves for intensity modulation. Users can save and recall their periodical instrument settings in 6 setup memories. An intuitive user interface has been created using rotary encoders and colored, back-lit buttons. This high quality, ‚classic‘ analog oscilloscope will be available at Hameg’s authorised dealers.
Another item, the HM8118, 200 kHz, LCR measurement bridge features a (basic) accuracy of 0.05 %. Engineers will enjoy the variable measuring voltage (0.1 to 1.5 Vrms) and the DC bias function for both voltage (0 to 5 V/0 to 40 V ext.) and current (0 to 20 mA), for evaluation of all kinds of LCR components. The multislope conversion technology and the sophisticated generation of the measuring signal enable stable measurements even in the femtoFarad and sub nanoHenry ranges. Due to the crisp, full graphic LCD, the user has all parameters plus the measurement results available at a glance. The HM8118 can also qualify the specific parameters of transformers in the whole range of 20 Hz to 200 kHz. A galvanically isolated, USB/RS-232 interface is fitted as standard, as well as a 4 terminal SMD test fixture and a 4 wire test lead being included with the instrument.
