18GHz switch increases RF channel count

Users can increase channel count and reduce costsof their high-frequency measurement applications with National Instruments 18GHz RF switch. The SCXI-1192 reduces the number of stand-alone instruments required for high-frequency test systems by expanding the number of channels. The switch multiplexes signals up to 18GHz and features 50-ohm characteristic impedance. With its eight single-pole double-throw relays, the module is capable of routing high-frequency signals with minimal loss, and they are bi-direction-al. The switch also delivers direct connectivity through SMA connectors for better signal performance. The switch is i-deal for RF communications test applications, and comes with an IVI-compliant instrument driver that controls the operation of all PXI and SCXI switch modules.
